About Us

HUMANITY FIRST FOUNDATION

Supporting and empowering communities with a mission to end poverty is our main goal.

Humanity First Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in the year 2019 with the purpose to contribute towards poverty reduction in Bidar(D), Karnataka. Our approach is to enable and empower people for change and support them with identifying solutions and making informed choices.

Rural Development Programs

We are implementing rural development models focused on comprehensive infrastructural growth in Bidar's villages and improving beneficiaries' incomes. At HFF, we recognize the importance of this goal and are committed to drive grassroots change in our operational areas. Our approach involves building the capacities of rural communities and identifying local agents of change within these communities themselves.

Women Empowerment

Fighting poverty also means fighting all kinds of discrimination in general, including gender discrimination, and balancing relations between men and women so that women, who are more exposed to poverty, can have access to the same economic and social opportunities. HFF develops programs that complement each other and promote respect for fundamental human rights and social justice. Our activities thus strengthen the capacity of the communities.

We carried out funeral rituals for abandoned bodies during India’s Covid-19 crisis.

Cremated Unclaimed Bodies of COVID-19 Patients

During the second wave of the pandemic, we took the responsibility of thoroughly performing the last rites of unclaimed COVID patient's bodies.
